Audition Notice: 24 Hour Theater Festival -2010

Dramatic Arts Society Needs You! For 24 hours of Theater!

The 24 Hour Playfest is an adrenaline rush – a non-stop theatre making bootcamp that is nothing like you have ever done before. Within 24 hours, we will create plays and perform them. We will wring magic out of dust and the passage of time. We are looking for playwrights who have enough courage and talent to meet a group of actors and write a short piece for them overnight. We are looking for directors who can take a play and stage it well in a very short time. We are looking for actors who can jump right into characters fearlessly and work together. We are looking for crew who are on the ball, who can problem solve quickly. We are looking for you! No experience necessary, fearlessness required.

AUDITION/INTERVIEW dates:   
          -Thursday Oct. 14,   7pm -10pm
          -Sunday Oct. 17,       6pm -9:30pm.

PLAY FESTIVAL:
           -Saturday Oct. 23, 9pm to Sunday Oct. 24, 9pm
